Appeals Process Timeline

The Admission Authority for the school will inform you that they are unable to offer your child a place.
Tell the school or Local Authority that you want to appeal.
Your appeal should be acknowledged within five working days. If you do not receive an acknowledgement please contact the Admission Authority for the school.
A date for your appeal will be arranged.
At least seven working days before the appeal you will be informed of the date, time and venue.
You need to telephone and confirm that you are able to attend the appeal.
At least seven working days before the appeal you will receive the Admission Authority’s appeal statement explaining why your child has not been admitted.
At least three working days before the appeal you will receive the names of the Panel Members and Clerk.
On the day of the appeal, please remember to bring everything relating to your appeal.
You will be notified in writing of the Appeal Panel’s decision.
