How to Apply for a Midyear School Place
To apply for a midyear school place you must apply through the Local Authority where the school is located. This means Lincolnshire School Admissions will only accept applications to Lincolnshire schools.
You can either apply online for a midyear school place or request a paper application.
If you apply online for a midyear place you will receive the outcome of your application by email.
If you would prefer to apply by paper, please contact the Education Team on 01522 782030 or email email@example.com . Please return complete forms to School Admissions Team, Lincolnshire County Council, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln, LN1 1YQ.
If you are applying for a faith school, or a school that considers medicals reasons as part of the application process, you may need to complete additional forms and provide supporting documents. The information you provide may give your child priority when the school allocates places or may affect your child’s position on a reserve list.
Some schools also give priority on other grounds. These could include, although not exclusively, grounds such as children of members of staff, children who are eligible for pupil or service premium etc. If you would like to apply on these grounds you will need to provide this information with your application or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are making an application an application for ‘previously looked after’ child please read the advice provided.
For further information on how a school allocates places please read the school’s admissions policy.
