Projects in planning

Major Highway Schemes are defined as schemes in excess of £5m and take a considerable time to deliver from feasibility stage through to construction and completion.  The County Council are currently developing the following Major Highway Schemes:-

  • Lincoln Eastern bypass
  • Grantham Southern Relief Road
  • Spalding Western Relief Road

The schemes listed are at varying stages of their development cycle and there is a dedicated section which outlines the progress made on each of the above mentioned schemes/packages.

Lincolnshire’s 4th Local Transport Plan (LTP) 2013/14-2022/23 sets out the Lincolnshire County Council‘s proposals for transport provision in the County. Transport Strategies for individual towns have been developed to provide local context for the LTP.  There are four Transport Strategies for individual towns:-

  • Boston Transport Strategy
  • Grantham Transport Strategy
  • Lincoln Transport Strategy
  • Gainsborough Transport Strategy
