Minerals and Waste Local Plan

The Lincolnshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan replaces the Lincolnshire Minerals Local Plan (1991) and the Lincolnshire Waste Local Plan (2006), and is made up of two parts as detailed below.

Core Strategy and Development Management Policies

The County Council adopted the Core Strategy and Development Management Policies (CSDMP) document on 1 June 2016. This document forms the first part of the Lincolnshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan and sets out:

  • the key principles to guide the future winning and working of minerals and the form of waste management in the county up to 2031; and
  • the criteria against which planning applications for minerals and waste development will be considered.

Full details are available on the Core Strategy and Development Management Policies page.

Site Locations

The County Council adopted the Site Locations document on 15 December 2017. This document includes specific proposals and policies for the provision of land for mineral and waste development. Full details are available on the Site Locations page.
