Planning Applications

Our Planning website contains background material on many areas associated with Lincolnshire County Council Planning. In particular you can download a complete set of guidance notes and policy documents concerning many planning matters (see ‘Downloads’ below).

The County Council also offers the facility to search for details of planning applications complete with maps, plans and associated documentation received after 31 November 2005 (see link to the right of this page).

Our systems are all operated in real-time, so what you see on the Internet is constantly updated with the latest information.

Where applications are current, you can track the progress of the application and if the proposed development impacts on you, submit your own on-line comments for consideration.

In addition to the planning content Lincolnshire County Council also operates a web-based committee reports system, allowing the agenda, reports and minutes of the previous meeting of the Planning and Regulation Committee to be viewed on-line.

Should you wish to apply for planning permission, or are acting as an agent, applying on behalf of others, you can register with either the Planning Portal or alternatively Lincolnshire County Council’s Planning Portal (Mineral developments only). Application forms for applications relating to the ‘Onshore extraction of Oil and Gas’ can be found on the Planning Portal web site. These allow you to securely compose and submit your own applications; confidentially tracking their progress pre-submission and tracking the public consultation and decision on-line.

If you submit a planning application on-line via the Planning Portal you will be given the option to either make payment electronically using a debit or credit card, by submitting a cheque or by a BACS payment. Should you wish to make payment electronically you should read our ‘Online Payments Terms and Conditions’ which can be found in Planning Guidance Note 22 via the ‘Downloads’ section below

A wide range of Planning Advice is available in the downloads section of this web-page and it is recommended that these be studied prior to any Planning Application, Request for Pre-Application advice or submitting Comments on an applications.

A facility is available for downloading and printing documentation if submitting on-line is not feasible, please see the Planning Portal. Details of Planning Appeals can be seen online and this information is provided as part of our on-line applications register under the ‘Related Links’ section below.
