Planning and Development

Lincolnshire County Council has a dedicated Planning section responsible for:-

  • strategic planning matters, including joint strategic planning partnerships with the District Councils;
  • minerals and waste planning, policy and dealing with planning applications
  • planning applications for County Council developments;
  • archaeological and historic building advice
  • maintaining an information base on historic buildings, archaeological sites, historic landscapes and archaeological finds.

The Planning Portal forms a fundamental component of the reform of UK Planning Services. A wide-range of Planning Related information as well as on-line application forms are delivered through this single point of contact, integrated with systems across subscribing Planning Authorities, of which Lincolnshire County Council is one.
