Our Road Safety Education Officers work with more than 350 schools and colleges across Lincolnshire, delivering road safety education to more than 20,000 pupils every year.
We provide age-appropriate sessions from the early years through to post-16 education, supporting children and young people as they become pedestrians, cyclists, passengers and, eventually, drivers.
Our interactive sessions combine practical activities with classroom learning to help learners recognise hazards, understand risks and make safer choices on every journey. Content is informed by local collision data and current road safety trends, ensuring it reflects the challenges faced by young people in Lincolnshire.
Alongside our work with schools and colleges, we support community initiatives and events to help promote safer road use across the county. Our aim is to reduce road casualties by giving people the knowledge, skills and confidence to stay safe on the road.
