Collect a school offer

School offers

If we received your application on time, you will be sent an email or a letter will be posted, depending on how you applied, on:

  • primary schools - 17 April 2023
  • secondary schools - 1 March 2023

We automatically assume you will accept your offer.  You do not need to contact us to confirm this.

If you are not happy with your offer, you can either:

You should not decline your offer until you have something else. Not having an offer or having an offer does not impact on the chances of getting a place at an appeal.

Before you decline an offer, call 01522 782030 for further advice.

Make a revised application

You can make a revised application if you have moved house or want to change your preference.

Do not decline the school offer you have. You may not get a place at your revised choices.

The online facility for making a revised application for the intake year groups opens on 1 March 2023.

Revise your application

Primary schools

  • You should submit your revised choices by 19 May 2023.
  • We will email the outcome week commencing 29 May 2023.

Secondary schools

  • You should submit your revised choices by 27 March 2023.
  • We will email the outcome week commencing 3 April 2023.

Your original offer will be withdrawn if there is a place at one of your revised choices.

You can still submit your revised application after these dates until 30 August 2023 and we will respond within 10 working days.
