PPE stock for carers
National guidance recommends that unpaid family carers should follow the same PPE procedures as domiciliary care workers, especially if they do not live with that person, provide personal care and cannot maintain social distance.
The government is making free PPE available to carers who require it.
PPE may also be helpful for carers managing social isolation or a hospital discharge.
To request PPE, if you are known to the Lincolnshire Carers Service, please contact your usual carer support worker.
If you are new to the service, please email [email protected] or call 01522 782224.
It is important to note that PPE is only effective if it is used properly.
