About Us

Our permanent laboratories are UKAS accredited for a wide range of laboratory and site testing services.

We undertake projects throughout the UK ranging from routine sampling and testing to the evaluation of large highway networks and investigations for new highways and large maintenance schemes.

Our other services include Traffic Data capture using both manual counts and automatic systems and highways inventory data collection.

We have a turnover of around £2m and employ some 43 Engineers, Technicians and Support Staff as well as a number of Part Time Traffic Data Enumerators.

In addition to serving the requirements of our parent body the laboratory undertakes work on a commercial basis for a wide range of clients such as Local Authorities, Designers, Materials Suppliers and Contractors throughout the UK.

Health and Safety

Lincs Laboratory holds certification to BS OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management Systems which is assessed by BSI.  A copy of our Health and Safety Policy and Manual is available upon request.

Quality Standards

Our Consultancy  Services are certificated to BS EN ISO 9001. UKAS and BSI carry out  annual audits of both the quality system and the tests service.

Sample Delivery and Collection

Samples can be delivered directly to the laboratory between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday or alternatively we can collect samples direct from your site.
