A17 Long Sutton Improvements

The Long Sutton improvement scheme would provide a westbound overtaking lane on the A17 between the roundabout junction of B1390 Station Road, Long Sutton, and the junction with Seagate Road.

As part of the project, the improvements would provide road users with safe overtaking opportunities and increased journey time reliability.

Lincolnshire County Council has submitted an application for road and related network funding from the National Productivity Investment Fund. One of the conditions is of the bid is that the documents are published on the Council’s website. This page will be updated with the outcome of the bid and consequently details of the scheme if it is approved.

Cost and Funding

Funding for the construction of the scheme, including third party contributions, is currently being bid for through tranche 2 of the Department for Transport’s National Productivity Investment Fund initiative.
