Council Services:

Bus services and timetables

Bus route and timetable information is available at www.lincsbus.info.

Contact your bus operator for service updates and tracking information:

Visit the Next Bus website to find the times of the all bus services that depart any particular stop in Lincolnshire and when they will arrive.

Complaints

If you wish to complain about a bus journey, you must contact the relevant operator first.

If they have not resolved the matter to your satisfaction, Bus Users UK is an independent organisation that represents bus passengers that may be able to help.

Email enquiries@bususers.org or call 0300 111 0001.

Bus stops and shelters

The county council is currently unable to fund the installation of new bus stops.

To report damage to a bus shelter or request a new one, contact your parish, town or district council.

Bus Service Operator Grant (BSOG)

Since receiving BSOG funding from Central Government in 2013/14, Lincolnshire County Council has devolved BSOG funds to operators for supported services operating at the point of transfer and for which they used to claim BSOG directly from the Department for Transport. The level of funding is calculated on the same basis as that adopted by the DfT and seeks to maintain the same levels of supported service.

Any new supported services do not now attract BSOG funding from Lincolnshire County Council (unless specifically stated within the Tender Specification). Instead, BSOG funding is now being allocated to specific projects to improve bus punctuality and reliability. A current project is in Skegness and Ingoldmells delivering measures to improve the bus lanes and infrastructure along some of the County’s most congested bus corridors particularly during the holiday season.
