Wash Fens Rural Development Programme

The Wash Fens Rural Development Programme is OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS to distribute LEADER funding from the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) 2014-2020, across South East Lincolnshire, to businesses and community groups who will make a contribution to growing the rural economy.

Local businesses, farmers, foresters and those involved in tourism, heritage and community initiatives can apply for grants to support activities that will boost the rural economy. This includes creating new jobs, growing businesses, increasing tourism and heritage visitors or providing new services in rural areas.

  • Food manufacturing

    Rural Businesses

    Grants for small businesses (under 50 staff) to start-up and grow and farmers diversifying.

  • Vegetable Box

    Food and Farming

    Grants to improve productivity and support product development, processing & marketing

  • Canal Boat

    Rural Tourism

    Grants for activities that develop high quality tourism products/services and help to grow the visitor economy.

  • Louth Flower Market

    Rural Services

    Grants for activities that help to alleviate the difficulties faced by rural communities and help them to thrive.

    Culture and Heritage

    Grants for activities that use cultural, heritage and natural assets to promote growth in the economy.

How to apply

1) Check if your project is located in the Wash Fens Area (open map)

2) Download and read the Applicant Handbook

3) Check the application submission dates

4) Complete an Expression of Interest Form (see guidance notes)

5) Submit to washfens@lincolnshire.gov.uk
