Council Services:

Lincolnshire Youth Council

Lincolnshire Youth Council (LYC) is a friendly group (young people Y8-Y13) that shares their ideas and opinions with councillors and senior managers at Lincolnshire County Council.

The group meets around eight times per year across the county and there is often an activity as part of the day. They have decided that transport fares for 16 and 17 year olds, mental health and bullying are the priorities and are working with staff and partner organisations to share their views and to see how they might improve services for young people on these issues.
