Council Services:

Lincolnshire Youth Council

Lincolnshire Youth Council is a friendly group (ages 12-18) that shares young people’s views with councillors and senior managers at Lincolnshire County Council.

The Youth Council meet around 7 times a year across the county to share ideas in a relaxed and fun way; they often include an activity as part of the day.

Currently the Youth Council is working with CAMHS on what makes good mental health and well-being and will be producing some podcasts for the CAMHS website at their June meeting. Late June they will also be hosting a schools’ debate on what Brexit means to young people in Lincolnshire as well as giving students a say on what matters locally.

 Remaining Youth Council dates:

  • 2 June, Skegness (half term, Friday)
  • 30 June, schools’ debate Lincoln (term time, Friday)
  • 21 July, Lincoln (summer, Friday)
