Baby Massage
5 week course for non-mobile babies
Offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships. Baby massage offers many benefits, which may improve sleep patterns, and relief from wind, colic, and constipation.

Incredible Years Baby Programme
10-week course for parents and carers with children aged 0–6 months
This programme helps you develop parenting skills while strengthening the bond with your baby. Through a variety of activities, it promotes attachment and supports your baby’s physical development.
Learning Together Babies
6 week course for babies under 1 years
The sessions feature activities, songs, and stories to support early development and boost babies’ confidence as they explore and includes a “Talk Time”, showing how small everyday actions by parent/carers can impact their baby’s learning.

Outdoors while Learning - OWL Babies
6 week course for babies under 1 year
The sessions encourage sensory exploration and supports early brain development through outdoor activities. Sessions run in all weather, so dress appropriately.

First Bites and Baby Life
This is a fun and interactive session covering many of the health related topics relevant to your 3-4 month old baby.
While sessions do look at a broad range of topics such as introducing solid foods, promoting oral health, managing minor illness, and supporting age-appropriate development; we aim for all parents to have their questions answered so there is space and time to raise anything specific that you want to find out about.
Sessions are delivered by our Early Years Practitioners using up to date information from our Children's Health team. They are an ideal place to connect with parents of similar aged children and find out about all the other wonderful groups offered in your local children's centres and family hubs.

Parents as First Teachers (PaFT)
For children 0-2 years
This programme is available to all parent/carers who would like to benefit from additional support for their child’s early educational development, helping them grow, develop, and reach their full potential. PaFT offers 12 to 24 visits, either at your home or local venue. A qualified Early Years practitioner will guide you on your journey as a “Parent as First Teacher,” providing specific activities to match your child’s individual developmental goals.

Incredible Years Toddler Programme
12-week course for children 1-3 Years
The course helps parent/carers develop their skills and build confidence, while strengthening the parent-child relationship. The programme encourages language development, supports social and emotional growth, and helps establish clear routines for toddlers.

Video Interaction Guidance (VIG)
Antenatal to 5 years
From antenatal to 5 years. Offers a unique opportunity where short video clips are taken of parent/ carers interacting with their baby to strengthen attachment and bonding. It helps you recognise the positive actions you’re already taking, builds on your strengths to boost confidence, reduces stress, and enhances the enjoyment of your relationship with your baby.

Big Cook, Little Cook
For children 0-5 years
Children and parent/carers work together to prepare nutritious meals. This activity not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also helps children develop their motor skills and enhance their communication and language abilities.

6-week course for children 2- 5 years
These sessions offer various activities, songs, and stories that support early development and help build confidence as children explore and includes a “Talk Time”, showing how small everyday actions by parent/carers can impact their child’s learning. Additionally, you’ll receive “Home Learning” ideas to continue supporting your child’s development through play at home, with an emphasis on preparation for school.

Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities (EPEC)
Children aged 2 to 11 years
An 8-week course designed for parents/carers with children aged 2 to 11 years, facilitated by trained parent/carers.
The programme covers various parenting topics and offers guidance on how to best support your growing child. There is also an opportunity to become a parent group leader during these sessions.

Making it REAL
For 3-4 Years
This programme combines group sessions and home visits to support parent/carers in building confidence and knowledge about the early home learning environment. It focuses on enhancing a child’s literacy development and preparing them for school.
