Sexual violence and abuse

How we tackle sexual violence

The Sexual Violence and Abuse Partnership develops campaigns to tackle sexual violence. It aims to:

  • promote culture change
  • support people with how and when to report a problem
  • promote support services

It includes the police, councils, colleges and other support services.

We all promote the message: #NoMore sexual violence and abuse in Lincolnshire.

Further support

The organisations below can help victims of sexual abuse:

Lincolnshire Rape Crisis - supports anyone who has been affected by sexual violence at any point in their lives.

Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) - provides a caring and dedicated service to meet the needs of victims of rape or sexual assault.

Victim Support - a charity dedicated to supporting victims of crime and traumatic incidents.

Ask for Angela

Ask for Angela is part of the #NoMore campaign.

It is designed to help keep you safe on a night out when in a bar or nightclub.

At participating venues, you can go to staff and use the safe word 'Angela'. They will know you need help.

We provide venues with guidance on the ways in which they can help.

Find all venues participating in the scheme in Lincolnshire.

If you would like to include your bar, pub, nightclub or restaurant, visit the National Pubwatch website.
