Wildfire Incidents and Response times

For each question I am seeking information for each of the following time periods:

 

i) 2020/21

ii) 2021/22

iii) 2022/23

iv) 2023/24

v) 2024/25

vi) 2025/26 (to date)



1.     How many wildfire incidents your service responded to

2.     The average response time to any incident

3.     The average response time to a wildfire

4.     The average number of vehicles required for wildfire incidents

Please note the following: Q1 - this dataset is as per the NFCC definition of 'wildfire', as close as LFR is able to provide based on the data that is collected in the national recording system. Please note that 2 elements of the NFCC definition are not currently recorded. Please see the attached spreadsheet for more detail.

Q2 - the figures provided are as per the wording of this request and as such are different to the response standards measured by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue. LFR measure the average response time to dwelling fires separately to all other incidents and exclude late calls and co responder incidents.
