Risk assessment B1225

1) I would like a copy of the risk assessment and supporting documents including photos taken.

Mr David Goy of highways advised me that a safety risk assessment was carried out at my property, and the neighbouring property which showed that there were no safety issues leaving my property and entering the B1225 since the neighbours 2 metre wall had been constructed. however he will not send me a copy of the said risk assessment. Obviously this will be a public viewable document.

All our officers are accredited with LANTRA Highways Safety Inspectors qualification this combined with experience gives our officers the ability to conduct an onsite dynamic risk assessment.

Based off observation that David Goy made was that there no immediate risk to the public as a result of the wall being built.

As this was real-time process of identifying hazards and evaluating risk no physical copy of the assessment has been produced.

We have been made aware of the newly erected wall and other items placed within the Highway and we are consulting with our legal team on what steps we take next.
