Food Waste Collection - Tonnage

1. How many tonnes of food waste has your council collected in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026? Please can yearly figures be broken down by month.



If monthly figures are not easily available, yearly totals would be fine.



If your council only began collecting food waste recently, for example as part of the government's Simpler Recycling changes, please provide figures from when collections started.



If possible, please provide this in a spreadsheet format (Excel or CSV).

Collections commenced on Trial Basis starting April 2025 before full rollout in March/April 2026.

No collections before this date so the tonnages for period January 2021 to March 2025 are 0.00.
