Sex Education for Asylum Seekers

1) Since 1st January 2024, how much has the Council spent on sex education for asylum seekers?



This can include any or all of the following:

Hiring outside contractors to teach asylum seekers about sexual intercourse, consent, implications, rape etc. Please break this down if you see fit to clarify. 

Provision of any council branded literature provided to asylum seekers related to sexual intercourse,

Provision of contraception to asylum seekers, 

And anything else you deem relevant to the above enquiry.

 

I require the figure spent by the council for each year -2024 and 2025 - and the most up to date figure for this year.

Since 1 January 2024, the Council has spent £0 on sex education for asylum seekers. The Council has not incurred any expenditure on:

• Hiring external contractors to provide sex education to asylum seekers, including education relating to sexual intercourse, consent, sexual offences, or associated topics.

• Producing or distributing council-branded literature relating to sexual intercourse for asylum seekers.

• Providing contraception to asylum seekers. • Any other activities that fall within the scope of this request.
