6. The Council may from time to time make grant funding available to CQC registered care providers, linked to specific criteria and/or in line with external funding conditions. At the current time, the only grant is available to CQC registered care providers is The Displaced Workers Grant.

The eligibility criteria is for a CQC registered provider in respect of any employee(s) recruited under the DSHC International Recruitment scheme into the adult care workforce in the East Midlands area by the Grantee either;

-as a result of revocation or suspension of the sponsorship licence of the employee’s sponsor, or

-due to the employee not being offered work in line with the conditions of the VISA requirements proper title

-and whose employment as such with the Grantee occurred after 1st October 2023
