Service Description

During this session, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of key aspects related to domestic abuse and safeguarding. The session will cover how to identify and assess risk, explore the barriers individuals may face when attempting to leave an abusive relationship, and provide guidance on how to appropriately manage a disclosure.

Attendees will also be introduced to their local domestic abuse specialist and support services available. In addition, the session will explain the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) process for high-risk cases, including how to make a referral by carrying out a case study using the DASH Risk assessment form.
