The child is in the care of the Local Authority or has previously been in the care of the Local Authority and has been adopted or become subject to a residence order or special guardianship order including those children who appear to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted.
  2. There is a brother or sister on roll at the school at the time of application.
  3. A child whose parent is a faithful and regular worshipper at St Mary’s Church, Cowbit.
  4. The school is the nearest one to the home address by straight line distance.
  5. The straight-line distance from home to the school, priority is given to the child living closest.

If distance is not sufficient to distinguish between applicants for the last place then a lottery will be conducted.
