- Looked after children and all previously looked after children including those children who appear to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted.
- A sibling will be attending the school when the child is due to start
- Applicants living in the parishes of Lea, Knaith, Kexby, Upton or Gate Burton.
- Whether the child's parent is a member of staff employed for at least two or more years at the time of application, or if they are employed to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable shortage.
- Straight line distance from home to the school, priority will be given to the child living closest.
If distance is not sufficient to distinguish between applicants for the last place then a lottery will be conducted.
