Counter fraud services - EduLincs

Overview

Our Counter Fraud Team offer counter fraud awareness and training packages that can include the following :

  • Counter fraud control reviews – identifying fraud risks present in your school and providing recommendations on how to reduce vulnerabilities
  • Counter fraud training for governing bodies and senior leadership teams
  • Policy reviews
  • Fraud related advice and guidance

The Counter Fraud Team also conduct comprehensive internal fraud investigations and will produce reports and attend disciplinary hearings as part of this process.

Cost

The counter fraud packages for 2025-26 are detailed and costed below.

Bronze

  • Termly Fraud Update (3 per year) – in the form of a leaflet/report, different focus area for each one such as fraud red flags, fraud risk management, emerging fraud risks.
  • Fraud Response plan/guide

Silver

The Bronze package plus:

  • 1 x face to face Governor’s training session for up to two delegates
  • 1 x virtual fraud awareness training session for up to two delegates

Gold

The Silver package plus:

  • 1 (additional) x face to face training session regarding fraud risk management for up to two delegates
  • 1 (additional) x virtual fraud awareness training session (topic TBC) for up to two delegates
  • Full access to all materials/resources used for the training sessions
  • 1 x Counter Fraud Control Review in one of these areas; Pcards, Payroll, Procurement, Asset Registers, School Fund (school’s choice)
  • 1 x Policy review and recommendations for one of these policies; Whistleblowing, Counter Fraud, Finance, Procurement, Travel & Expenses (school’s choice)
  • Unlimited access to the Counter Fraud Advice line (operated within normal working hours)

For maintained schools:

  • Bronze - £500
  • Silver - £1000
  • Gold - £1500

For academies:

  • Bronze - £800
  • Silver - £2000
  • Gold - £3000
