This session is a facilitated tabletop exercise designed to assess how effectively a school can maintain critical operations during a major IT disruption. With a growing number of schools experiencing cyberattacks that have disabled essential systems for extended periods, responding quickly and appropriately has become increasingly complex. Guided by expert support from East Midlands Special Operations Unit, the exercise typically runs for 90 to 120 minutes and brings together key stakeholders, including senior leadership, IT management, governors, and additional staff, to collaboratively test and strengthen the school’s resilience.
