Please may I request Freedom of information regarding these Telecare, in particular, to hopefully include the following:


1. Which of the following do you provide (Telecare services, Assistive Tech, Tech enabled care, Telehealth)?


2. What elements of these do you provide?


3. Are these provided jointly?


4. Who Commissions/jointly commissions this service and in what financial percentages?


5. How much is spent on this?


6. How many assessments are done for each service, each year and what are the typical wait times?


7. How many current registered users you have for each service?


8. Timescales for delivery?


9. Eligibility criteria?


10.What do you charge for these services?


11.Can you tell me about the purchasing of your kit, delivery of the kit, your responder service, monitoring service, collection of stock, refurbishment of stock?


12.Do you have a showcase facility for any of your services?


13.Do you have a link to traditional commissioning services?

Decision

1. Telecare services.


2. Telecare service, provision and monitoring.


3. The Telecare provision is a mixed model; with most clients accessing services via a retail route and some fully funded by adult care.


4. Commissioned by Lincolnshire County Council (LCC).


5. Current projections are for a spend of £270,000 this financial year.


6. There were a total of 107 referrals made that were new and 29 that were existing, now Adult Care in April 2019 - 2020.
A total of 136 referrals made following assessment from Adult care. There is no wait time to process request from Telecare team; most referrals are dealt in 24 hours.


7. There are 4454 active customers receiving Telecare.


8. There are two delivery timescales. One is next day and the other is five days. The fulfilment of these depends on whether entry can be gained.


9. Based on the Care Act 2014.


10.Where Telecare is being provided to meet an eligible care and support need, the entire Telecare system is be funded by LCC.


11.LCC have two main suppliers of Telecare equipment: Tunstall and Doro. The equipment is purchased by NRS and delivered to their depot.


LCC's response services Wellbeing Lincs, which is based in East Lindsay. If this service is requested, a representative will visit to complete the paperwork and send this to Lincare who deal with the payments and monitoring of this service.


LCC's monitoring provider of the Telecare equipment is Appello, Stock collection is based on either NRS or LCC being notified of the collection, and the aim is collect within five days. Any stock that can be re-used is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before it can be put back in stock for use.
