EHCP Care Plans - Find a freedom of information request

1. The number of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) needs assessments requested per quarter from 1 January, 2018 to today.

2. The number per quarter that continued to a final EHC plan.

3. How many of the requests per quarter have gone over the 20 week timescale from the date the EHC needs assessment is requested to the date the LA issue a final EHC plan?

4. How many in the most recent quarters have gone over the 20 week timescale because of coronavirus?

NB.

The number of final plans completed reduces in Q2 2020 and Q3 2020 – because they are not yet due and so have not been completed.

These figures do not include other local authority requests (where children already have an EHCP in another area, and they keep that if they move into Lincolnshire) and medical assessments.

Cases that went to Tribunal / Mediation are not included in the final plan numbers

Cases that were NFA'd are not included in the final plan numbers

4. None of the plans outside of timescale required the Covid exemption to be applied.
