CHANNEL Panel Reports - Find a freedom of information request

Request

According to the CHANNEL Guidance, councils are the leading members of local CHANNEL panels, part of the Prevent policy and overall CONTEST counter terrorism policy.  The follow documents which should be produced or received, in some form, by your CHANNEL panels. In this request, I am only interest in cases which have gone through and left the CHANNEL process, or who have been deemed not in need of CHANNEL assistance. I am not interested in active cases. All identifying information can also be redacted, but please retain, if possible, the year of the case and the sex of the referral.

 

Please send to me the following documents, for cases that were referred in 2012 and 2016:

 

1. All vulnerability assessment frameworks for CHANNEL referrals;

 

2. All records of actions and decisions made in relation to each referral;

 

3. All support plans for each referral;

 

4. The reviews of these support plans;

 

5. The closing report made for each referral after leaving CHANNEL; and

 

6. The subsequent reviews made for each referral after leaving CHANNEL.
