1. What is the average waiting time for an Adult Social Care assessment by the social work department in your local authority?

1. All referrals are triaged and are allocated according to risk and need. If a request is urgent then this will be responded to immediately such as hospital based assessments and those undertaken by the Customer Service Centre. For all other non-urgent referrals the average waiting time would be 17 days.
