Service Description

All year 2 students will be offered this interactive workshop which will be based around discussions and interactive activities. During the workshop, students will explore different emotions, and how our bodies react to these different emotions. Students will develop an understanding that all emotions are important.

Students will identify what makes them feel different emotions, through writing and drawing one thing for each emotion, such as:

  • happy
  • sad
  • anxious

The pupils will then discover different techniques of coping with emotions through an interactive toolbox activity. Pupils will discover, things to do in the moment, when calming down and after an emotional event.

Pupils will then have the opportunity to look at scenario based questions and apply the knowledge they have gained, in order to choose correct phrases for the circumstance.
