Rates of Minimum Income Guarantee (MIG) - Find a freedom of information request

Request

In view of the recent cuts to the disabled in Norfolk I am doing a comparative study on different councils regarding adult social care and the rates of MIG and PIP,

I am enquiring about the rates of MIG for your area and also the contributions to social care/day services etc.

1. Does it take into consideration the daily living component of PIP?

2. If so what is the average contribution 18 to 64 year olds make?

3. Could you tell me if DRE (disability related expenses) is an automatic figure given or if it is person centred?

4. Non-residential, independent living and residential, wonder if you could send me via email the relevant information currently for 2019.

Decision

1. PIP we include the daily living allowance but only up to the standard rate (2019 = £58.70).

2. LCC don’t currently have the information in relation the average contribution for 18-64 yr olds.
