Library Thefts, Fines and Bans - Find a freedom of information request

Request

I would like to know:

1. The number of instances of theft from libraries within Lincolnshire.

2. The number of people banned from council-operated libraries.

3. The number of fines handed out and the total amount of money collected from fines all within the last five years.
If possible, I would like a breakdown of the number of instances of these occurrences in each year.

Decision

1. Since GLL became responsible for the delivery of libraries, on behalf of the council, in April 2016, they have no recorded thefts from GLL run libraries. Grantham Library has experienced two incidences since this time, both of which occurred in 2019, in the financial year 2019/20.

3. In regards to the number of fines handed out, we do not hold this information.
Regarding the total amount of money collected from fines, for sites where LCC retain the income, this equated to £17,496.27 over the last five years. We do not hold this information for GLL managed sites
