Savings from Reduced Street Lighting - Silk Willoughby - Find a freedom of information request

1. I wish to ask how much money has been saved by Lincolnshire County Council since it either switched street lights off, or reduced their hours of operation, in the parish of Silk Willoughby.

Decision

1. Lincolnshire County Council Street Lighting Inventory indicates in the Parish of Silk Willoughby:-

-         8 street lights have been switched off (on the A15), and

-         13 street lights have been converted to operate part night on 3 streets within the village.

 

Since the changes were introduced in November 2016, Lincolnshire County Council has saved approximately 18,850 kWhr in energy, resulting in a saving of £2,580 and a 7.1 tonne reduction of CO2.
