Deaf/Blind Citizens - Find a freedom of information request

Please provide us with the total number of deaf/blind people that are known to Lincolnshire county council

The authority do not keep a register of every deafblind child or adult in the county, however the following figures are available:

• The authority's Sensory Education and Support Team supports 22 children or young people aged 0-25 and in education or pre-education.
• Lincolnshire Sensory Services is a commissioned local authority service which supports 2 deafblind children
• Deafblind children may be included in more than one of the groups above.

*The figures below are for individual's aged18+, and does not include any deceased, and is all people irrespective of their current involvement with Adult Social Care.
