Care Quality Commission - Mental Health Residential Care - Find a freedom of information request

Request

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from Lincolnshire County Council. Please could you provide me with the following information:

 

1. How many Adults does the authority have placed in a CQC regulated Mental Health Residential Care setting within the boundaries of the authority?

a. How many of the above placements (Q1) have been made in the past 12 months (Sep 2020 to Aug 2021 inclusive)?

 

2. How many Adults does the authority have placed into an 'out of area' (i.e. outside the boundaries of the authority) CQC regulated Mental Health Residential Care Setting?

a. How many of the above placements (Q2) have been made in the past 12 months (Sep 2020 to Aug 2021 inclusive)?

 

3. What is the lowest, highest and average weekly price paid by the authority for one adult placement in a CQC regulated Mental Health Residential Care setting?

 

4. Is there a shortage of adult beds for CQC regulated Mental Health Residential Care placements within the authority and, if so, what is the shortfall / deficit?

 

Please note that all the above refer to Mental Health Residential Care Homes only (as distinct from other types of care home), for adults only (not children).

2. 11 as at 31 August 2021.

a. Zero between 01 September 2020 and 31 August 2021.

 

3. Lowest weekly price = £138.75.

Highest weekly price = £2,676.76. A

Average weekly price = £580.64.

 

4. There is no shortfall of adult beds for CQC regulated Mental Health Residential Care placements, therefore the second part of the question is inapplicable.
