Lincoln Cathedral History - Find a freedom of information request

Request

Much of the history of Lincoln is purposefully wrong. Having spoken to the cathedral and Castle regarding their history they do not deny a lot of it is based on myth.

1. I would like to know under the freedom of information act if you are aware Lincoln Cathedral was originally built for the intention of being a synagogue.

2. Has Lincoln cathedral ever been used as a synagogue at any point in its history?

3. Can you also give me all the information on underground tunnels leading to the cathedral? I have been told that there was one on bank Street or an estate agents near bank Street that led to the cathedral

4. I would like information on all known underground tunnels in Lincoln, where they lead to and who owns them.
