Please find attached a list of all of Lincolnshire County Council's (LCC's) carriageway ‘sections’ together with as much information relating to this request as the Council holds.
If you would like to see a copy of this attachment, please request it from CustomerInformationService@lincolnshire.gov.uk quoting the reference number 2394334.
The carriageway assets have been split into sections because some have different attribute data for different parts of the carriageway.
Note, LCC does not hold ‘Environment’ information against its carriageways and therefore cannot provide this part of the request. Additionally, LCC does not hold actual ‘traffic level’ information, however it does use a system within its street works section that shows what New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) specification each of the carriageway sections has been classed as for reinstatement purposes and we have therefore provided this as substitute information as this will hopefully still be of value to you.
Thus, the carriageway sections are categorised by the NRSWA specification into five types, each with a limiting capacity expressed in millions of standard axles (msa) – as per the table in figure 1 of the attached PDF 'Figures 1 and 2'. More information regarding NRSWA and the Road and Traffic Capacity can be found on the Legislation.gov Website.
Finally, attached as figure 2 in 'Figures 1 and 2' is an extract from the attached spread sheet. The USRN is the Unique Street Reference Number for the road/street/site in question. Note, you can add this to Map - FindMyStreet and it will show you exactly where the road/street/site is.
However, you also have the Road/Street or Site Name in the second column also. The Area Name is just the name of the area the carriageway is located. The location provides a more detailed explanation to where the actual carriageway section is, especially useful where there are several sections for one carriageway. There are two attributes included (where available) and these have been located one above the other within the spread sheet. The first one you will come to for a specific carriageway section is the ‘Road Class’. E.g. Class C, or if it is unclassified, this will also be stated. The second is the NRSWA category (mentioned above) that has been allocated to that section of carriageway e.g. Type 4: Up to 0.5 msa. Then the actual value for these attributes is in the next/last column.
