Tobacco and young people workshop or assembly - Stay Safe Partnership

Outcomes
  • Raise awareness of the health dangers of smoking, and the dangers of choosing illicit ‘fake’ tobacco. While also looking at why some young people still smoke, and details how to get help to quit.
  • Helps as an intervention to hopefully reduce number of school exclusions for tobacco use.
Service Description
Established interactive workshop being delivered in Lincolnshire schools since 2011.
Aimed at secondary age pupils this workshop aims to help reduce the number of school exclusions for tobacco use by highlighting the health dangers of smoking and educating young people on how they can find help and support to quit.
