With reference to the "parklets" recently installed on Mercer Row, Louth:

1. Was the advice of the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership sought before installation. What was asked and what was the response?

2. Has any advice been sought from any official body regarding hostile vehicle mitigation? If so what was the advice received?

3. What signage has been planned and/or installed to warn/advise other road users as to the presence of the "parklets" ?

4. Has a full risk assessment been made for the use of the "parklets" by members of the public? If so, is this is in the public domain?

5. Has any extra public liability insurance been secured by the Lincolnshire Council with regard to the use of the "parklets" by members of the public?

Decision

1. The advice of LRSP has not been sought so far at this stage of the experimental scheme.

2. No advice has been sought

3. Lincolnshire County Council are planning to install reflective keep right bollards at the corners of the Parklet facing traffic, and on entry ones between the other Parklet and the disabled parking bay, if the Parklets are to remain in place.

4. A full risk assessment has not been carried out by LCC.
