Boston Active Model Scheme - Proposed Traffic Regulation Orders

To convert a length of footway as specified in the schedule below to a shared cycle and pedestrian way under sections 65(1) and 66(4) of the Highways Act 1988. The Cycletracks Act 1984 will apply to this length should the proposal be confirmed and will be distinguished by special signs and markings.

The following pedestrian crossing upgrades are also proposed as specified in the schedule below:

Shared Cycletrack and Footways

London Road – starting north east of St Thomas Drive in a north easterly direction to the A16 roundabout

A16 – from the A16 roundabout in a southerly direction to the Marsh Lane roundabout

Marsh Lane – between Marsh Lane and Wyberton Low Road then continuing on to finish west of Lealand Way

Wyberton Low Road – from number 95 in a southerly direction to the primary school

Crossing Upgrades to Toucan Crossings

A16 – south of the A16 and London Road roundabout

Marsh Lane – at the Marsh Lane and Wyberton Low Road junction
