Blister Packs for medication

What to do

Empty blister packs can be taken to participating Boots stores and placed in the dedicated blister pack recycling container available in-store. If you’re unable to get to a Boots store, blister packs should be placed in your general household waste bin, as they are usually made from a combination of plastic and metal that cannot be easily separated for recycling at home. The cardboard box and paper leaflet that accompany most medication can be placed in your purple-lidded bin (if you have one) or in your recycling bin.
