Most plastic flower pots, plant pots and seed trays can be placed in your recycling bin. Black plastic plant pots and trays cannot be recycled through your household recycling collection and should be placed in your general household waste bin.
Other recycling options:
Many garden centres accept pots back for reuse and recycling. It is advisable to call and check before taking any pots to them. Alternatively, unwanted or broken flower pots can be taken to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre.
