Decision

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1) Since we have been recording complaints we have received 13 complaints regarding parking in Knight Street.

2) In 2023 we have recorded 9 Visits to Knight Street. In 2022 we have recorded 6 visits to Knight Street In 2021 we have recorded 28 visits to Knight Street. Pinchbeck is a Category C patrol area and is subject to one visit per month unless we are alerted to any issues via nuisance parking.

3) Vehicles that block drives can be enforced however are only able to do this if the owner of the drive gives permission. Where vehicles are parked on double yellow lines, they are permitted to load and unload providing that it is seen as continuous. Vehicles parked on a pavement where there are no restrictions is a matter for the Police as this is classed as causing an obstruction, and LCC are not able to enforce this under Civil Parking legislation.

4,5) The FOI Act is for recorded information only, requests not requesting recorded information (asking for opinions, press statements, making a complaint) are not valid requests.

6) LCC are currently monitoring conditions at Knight St with a view to the possible introduction of parking or loading restrictions if justified
