Decision

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. Please see attached

*Please note in the column Damage Area Description where the answer is marked as NULL this refers to the fact that there is a longstanding error in the Home Office Incident Recording System and denotes that information was not saved correctly.

When the system is searched it returns a blank field, so NULL has been added.

2. * The service has purchased a Water carrier which provides an increased capacity of 10,000l compared to the previous capacity of 7,250l,

* The service is looking at purchasing different lighter weight PPE.

* It is currently reviewing technology to support incident command and improve situational awareness.

* It is currently looking to review relevant vehicle types for working in this environment

3. The definition of a wildfire can be located at:

Which has been used to formulate this response. However, as a Service we utilise the Home Office Incident Recording System to record our incidents. There is a long-standing issue in that, for primary outdoor fires, the amount of damage isn't saved within the system despite being entered. There is the potential for some incidents to be over 10,000 sqm without one of the other factors being present and may not be included in this dataset.
