I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. The Council’s total highways budget, excluding major schemes but including additional one off funding packages, for financial year 2022/23 was £82.7m.

2. Around 46000

3. Pothole costs vary significantly depending on a number of factors such as size and type defect, road classification, response time, existing surrounding surface condition, material type and risk assessment. This makes an estimated average figure highly variable. A further difficulty is that costs are not assigned on a individual pothole basis but rather form part of cost of our reactive service which includes all time limited repairs. We currently estimate a pothole repair at around £60 but this can vary significantly and is not very representative.
