A sensory play session encouraging children to explore a range of messy play activities such as water, sand, crafts, gloop and play dough.

A fun filled and exciting session for families to enjoy where they will be joining in activities, games and singing songs, come along and have some fun.

Recovery College - Five Ways to Wellbeing, held at Birchwood Children's Centre or Online

Course on understanding and recognising the signs of anxiety and how to manage it. Free course for more information visit Recovery College.

Early Explorers Under 1s

Babies learn through their senses. This session will provide a range of opportunities for babies to explore different messy play activities such as sand, water, gloop and cereals.

Pop in and Play 0 to 5 years with siblings up to 8 years - Sensory Special 19 August only

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Wednesdays

Pop in and Play 0 to 5 years with siblings up to 8 years - Craft Special - 13 August only

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Baby Massage - starting 9 July for five weeks

From six weeks (after the postnatal check) for non-mobile babies. This five-week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships.

Top Tips for babies 3 to 4 months - 24 July and 28 August, held at Birchwood Children's Centre

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development.  It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family.

Parent and carers work together with partners and commissioned services to co-design and evaluate current services.

Breast Start from Pregnancy and Breastfeeding, held at Birchwood Children's Centre

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.
