Early Voices under 1s

Babies are born ready to communicate. This session will support these developing skills through songs and rhymes.

The centre is closed on bank holiday Monday 25 August.

Tuesdays

Breast start from pregnancy and breastfeeding

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Holiday Fun 0 to 5 to include siblings up to 8 years - Nature Explorers at Hubbards Hills - 26 August only

A fun filled and exciting session for families to enjoy where they will be joining in activities, games and singing songs, come along and have some fun.

Wednesdays

Pop in and Play 0 to 5 years with siblings up to 8 years 

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Holiday Fun 0 to 1 years - Stories and songs - 6 August only

New session coming for the 2025 Summer holiday timetable in your Children’s Centre. Early Years Alliance will be piloting a Holiday Fun for 0 to 1 year olds . A fun filled and exciting session for families to enjoy where they will be joining in activities, games and singing songs, come along and have some fun.

Thursdays

Baby Massage - starts 31 July 

From six weeks (after the postnatal check) for non-mobile babies. This five-week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships.

Sensory Room - second, third and fourth Friday of the monly only

The sensory room is available for families to access with their child with lots of different sounds, lights and textures to explore.

Top Tips for Babies 3 to 4 months - first Friday of the month

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development.  It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family.

Moving On Up! 0 to 5 years

This session offers a range of fun activities to support children developing their independence and social skills through play.

Family connects

Family Connects are one-off online events providing an opportunity to connect with other parents and carers via Zoom and learn about topics relevant to families and children aged 0 to 5 years.
