The number of fires caused by electric vehicles - Find a freedom of information request

1. The number of fires caused by electric vehicles broken down by each city/town your fire service is responsible for during the last fiscal year (2022/23).

2. The type of electric vehicle involved in each fire caused by an electric battery throughout the last fiscal year (2022/23).
 

I can confirm that the information requested is not held by Lincolnshire County Council.

LFR use the national Home Office recording system and there is no breakdown of when a vehicle is electric.

There was one recorded fire incident involving an E-Scooter in April 2023. The damage was confined to the battery only, no casualties. Cause recorded as 'electrical fault'.
