Outcomes

This workshop will enable students to:

  •  Investigate pedestrian behaviours that contribute to increased risk of injury in road traffic environments.
  •  Identify common distractions such as mobile phone use and peer pressure that impact pedestrian safety.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to real-life scenarios involving pedestrian decision-making and risk assessment.
  • Understand the consequences of unsafe pedestrian actions through interactive discussion and case study analysis.
  • Demonstrate awareness of how personal choices and external influences affect road safety outcomes.
Service Description

An immersive and interactive workshop designed to engage students in real-world problem solving around pedestrian safety. Through scenario-based learning and group investigation, students explore behaviours that increase the risk of injury in road traffic environments. The session highlights key distractions such as mobile phone use and peer pressure, encouraging students to reflect on their own decision-making and risk awareness.

Availability

This workshop is available to Year 9 and 10 students across Lincolnshire. Workshops can be taught in groups of up to 30 children. Each session will run for 60 minutes. Please contact to discuss availability.
